As part of our training, it’s great to be able to sit in the back of other people’s flights so that you can see what the lesson entails and learn from each others techniques and mistakes.
This is exactly what I did with my friend’s VOR and GPS Holds and Approaches lesson.
At the end of the lesson, having already completed three approaches into Hamilton, he did the VOR only approach to 18L and also completed a circling manoeuvre to land back on the runway. This video shows the process from when he turned onto final approach.
