Circuits at Hamilton

On the 22nd April, I went up solo in one of CTC Diamond DA20 Katanas.
The aim of this trip was to practice doing ‘touch and go’s – where the you land and then take off again without coming to a stop. You can’t just do this though and flying is involved – you have to fly around the airfield to reposition yourself onto the approach to land the plane. This is why we call them circuits.

In the hour that I was up for, I managed to get 6 circuits completed and I managed to film it too. This video shows three of my better approaches into the airport as well as my initial taxi out and take off.

*Due to the backing music, viewers in Germany are unable to watch this video. I apologise*
