My head in the books

Study is the bane of childhood, the oil of youth, the indulgence of adulthood, and a restorative in old age…

Walter Savage Landor

Without study, everything really would just be harder. We all dislike doing it, look at all the people who take to Twitter and Facebook, myself included, when GCSEs and A Levels come around to complain that they’re fed up of studying and that they think it’s really hard.

Revising has just been my life for the past couple of weeks in the run up to my mocks. And it seems to have worked!
We’ve already done three of the mock exams and I ended up with a 92% average in them, so all the revision that I did seems to have paid off. Now it’s just a case of carrying this momentum forwards into my remaining mocks and onto the real exams as well.

There are more men ennobled by study than by nature.
